Hello! I’m Kou, and while I may not be Hypstage’s number 1 fan, I’d like to think I’m at least in the running for its strongest soldier (lol). I’ve been a Hypmic fan since a series of mishaps spanning Jan-May of 2018 and casually ordering the Track.1 bluray and having it show up on my doorstep that fateful day in 2020 altered my life in ways I could never have comprehended at the time.

My first Hypstage in person was Track.5, and I’ve seen every show since at least once in person as well. There’s truly nothing else like it; I love it with all my heart and soul (and wallet). If you get the chance to go—just do it. No stream or bluray can ever do the experience of sitting in the theatre justice. Hypstage productions are incredibly atmospheric and immersive, and only the tiniest fragment of that manages to carry over in recording, no matter how big your screen or fancy your sound system.

(Just be careful, because once you’ve gone once it’s basically impossible to stop yourself from going again, then again, then—)

My personal favorite stages are MDD and T5 with I&R and FMOD rounding out a very close third place, but who knows what the future might hold! This feels like the second golden age of Hypstage and productions just keep getting better and better. No matter what it might be at the time you’re reading this, just know I’m looking forward to the next one.

I am a chronic Oridivi enjoyer and merch collector (ask me about that time I zentsu-ed oridivi live and walked away from the venue with every single piece of merch including randoms in my suitcase. best week of my life hands-down) but will happily take everyone’s extra Otomes and Taishi Reis off your hands as well. ☺️

Catch me at the venue with the ever-growing oridivi gauntlets! 🫡

As a few final notes:

So all that said, much love and happy Hypstage enjoying—

Kou 💕
