BASIC INFO

DISCLAIMER

This is a quick guide to Hypstage ticketing and is based largely on my own personal experiences, nuggets of wisdom I’ve gleaned from fellow stage-goers, and large amounts of trial and error. It is by no means perfectly comprehensive, so please feel free to get in touch if you have any other insight!

TICKET TYPES

TICKET LOTTERIES

Hypstage ticket lotteries run in five rounds for regular performance tickets, and three rounds for fanclub-only performances, with the best tickets being given out first (though this is very much relative).

Opening and closing shows are always the hardest tickets to win; fanclub-only shows are a close second. For regular shows, the only seats available to lottery for are regular seats. Side seats and obscured view seats are not available until the “general” (non-fanclub/mailing list) lottery rounds, though this may change if the show sells particularly well. For fanclub-only shows, side seats are available to lottery for immediately.

What you need to apply:

Note: To apply for a ticket lottery with digital tickets, you MUST have a Japanese phone number to receive the tickets on. If you are applying for paper tickets, you will still need a valid Japanese phone number to enter in the form. Foreign phone numbers are not accepted, even if you select the “overseas” option for a home address.
